TENT BUILD
As seen in the picture we drew. Instead of having just 6ft PVC pipes we decided it would be more stable if we used two 3ft with connectors for the height of the tent.
for the width we had 6 2ft PVC pipes and also 6 3ft pipes for the length of the tentAll of our materials are found on Home Depot website
TENT BUILD
As seen in the picture we drew. Instead of having just 6ft PVC pipes we decided it would be more stable if we used two 3ft with connectors for the height of the tent.
we need 8 3 way connectors to connect the corners at the top and bottom
and 4 4 way connectors to connect the middle of the tent
the net will be wrapped around and zip tied to the pipes
disassemble
we will buy a box to carry our materials for easy moveable access and roll up the net
Your tent is well thought out and will be very strong when assembled; with the three "levels" in your tent I think that will give it much more sturdiness, which is what you want. Having the hanging "obstacles" was very smart so you didn't have to find a way to attach parts to your tent. Great detailed drawing exemplifying the parts that you are going to be using when making your tent.
ReplyDeleteThank you it took us a long time to get the idea because we were afraid that the drone would drop the tent due to its force but after overlooking it we decided to go with this plan.
DeleteYour tent is very creative and looks very sturdy. I like the idea of using screws to attach the screen to the pipes to make it extra durable. I'm curious as to how much all of your supplies will cost and how you intend to get the screws into the pipes, perhaps you will need a drill as well?
ReplyDeleteI think your obstacle is a great idea but am curious as to what you will use as the end of the 'swing' and how far down they will go relative to the tent.
Your drawing is very detailed and outlines very nicely how you will construct and deconstruct your tent. I do not however see where your screen will attach or where your screws will need to go.
Our swings are going to be one of 3 ft and another of 2 feet and attached to the bottom we are going to place the extra pipping from out tent to make it more of an obstacle for the drone. and we removed the screws and decided on using zip ties and velcro
